Dr. Kyle Ambert, PhD

Dr. Kyle H. Ambert is a scientist specializing in data analysis, artificial intelligence and deep learning.  He has his PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and was a Fellow at the National Institute of Drug Abuse, Department of Behavioral Neuroscience. Dr. Ambert received his B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College in Illinois.

Dr. Ambert is currently the Director of Data Science at Nike’s Consumer Data Science division after holding several positions as a data and artificial intelligence scientist. Before Nike Dr. Ambert was the Senior Deep Learning Data Scientist at Intel.  His responsibilities at Intel included Data Scientist roles in Artificial Intelligence & Applied Analytics Group, Health & Life Sciences: Big Data Solutions Group and Biomedical & Big Data Research

Dr. Ambert is an accomplished speaker, author and researcher having numerous publications, poster presentations and white papers to his credit.  Dr. Ambert’s speaking credits on data science, artificial intelligence in healthcare and life sciences are substantial having been invited to present at Susan G. Komen Dinner Lecture Series, High Performance Computing Development Conference and the Health Information Management Systems Society Annual Meeting among many others.  He is also a visiting scholar at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Ambert is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, American Medical Informatics Association, Society for Neuroscience and American Association for the Advancement of Science.
